
Keti Sidamonidze
Ketevan (Keti) Sidamonidze is the Founding Director of Venture Georgia. She is an adamant advocate of the notion that when people believe in you, it gives you courage and motivation, but when you believe in yourself, it gives you perseverance, willpower, and infinite energy needed to stay lively, motivated, and determined toward your goals; none of which are alien to Keti. She is an audacious explorer with shrewd business acumen. She has made a significant mark on Georgia’s innovative startup ecosystem by building numerous impactful partnerships that have left a lasting impact in the region. Her efforts with Georgia's Innovation and Technology Agency, international startup accelerators, and Georgian entrepreneurs have energized this space and strengthened USAID's supportive engagement.
Keti parades a strategic mindset that allows her to navigate through challenging scenarios effortlessly; her problem-solving skills, combined with an acute analytical mind, enable her to propose solutions that are undoubtedly innovative and practical. She has hands-on experience with market entry and business development services, aiding clients in gaining and sustaining a competitive position in target markets. Keti has frequently bridged the common gaps between companies in one region and opportunities for trade and investment in another. It is ingrained in Keti’s DNA to bring the right people together to challenge established thinking and drive transformation. She has led many initiatives that shaped the capabilities that enabled organizations to achieve sustainable advantage. Keti has always gone beyond templates, offering customized solutions that are focused, precise, and actionable. Prior to her pivotal role at Venture Georgia, she led the Creative Industries and Innovation activities at DAI Global for the 5-year, $23 million USAID Georgia Economic Security program. Keti is a graduate of the Supernovas Business Angel Academy (2023 edition). She served as a Board Member of the ESADE Alumni MBA Club from 2021 to 2024. Keti was the Country Coordinator/SME Finance Expert at EBRD Georgia’s Trade Ready project implemented by DAI Europe. Keti is a recurring Judge at the annual Georgia Business Case Competition, "An Analysis of Harvard Business School Cases," produced by TBSC Consulting and Bank of Georgia, and a frequent Mentor for the Impact Hub Tbilisi's Startup Pre-accelerator. She also served as a Mentor for the first edition of the U.S. Embassy’s Business Mentorship Program. Keti is the Founding Director of Versatile KS Consulting and was a Partner in two additional boutique consulting firms. Before these engagements, Keti was the Chief Advisor to the Director of the Georgian National Investment Agency and a Private Investment and Financing Consultant for USAID EC-LEDS Clean Energy Program.
Keti holds a Full-Time MBA degree from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain (class of 2014). During her studies, she served as the ESADE MBA Student Association Welcoming Committee Director. As a Consultant for the Momentum Project, a social entrepreneurship initiative of ESADE, BBVA, and PwC in Spain, she aided Grupo Sacendi in devising a replicable sustainable growth strategy that resulted in obtaining a €0.5 million Impact Loan from BBVA Bank. Prior to the ESADE MBA, Keti was the Focal Point of the United Nations Global Compact Georgia Network. She served as a Project Team Leader/Manager for the American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia for over seven years, leading dozens of projects funded by USAID, as well as two US-Georgia Business Summits and the USDA Trade and Investment Mission to Georgia. Keti was the founding Board Member of the Georgian SME Association and a member of the Advisory Board of www.PRExchange.ge.
